Hit or Missoni?

I know I post many art inspired fashion, but here is some fashion inspired art. NYC artist, Meredith Schwab uses high fashion designers such as Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Missoni to make unique paintings! I would totally wrap this canvas on and wear it as a dress, what do you think...Hit or miss?!

Cherry Pie

Rihanna looked red hot at the Grammys. I love her red hair, red lips, and red eyes. PS - if your randomly in the mood for pie learn how to make one here!

Escapades of Fashion Week

Pictures from Richard Chai LOVE, Richard Chai Men's, Custo Barcelona, and Proenza Schouler. Check out more pictures of the Proenza show at http://the-coveted.com and to see my interview click here!

Coca Cola With a Twist

Jeremy Scott really shocked his audience (well, me at least) with his runway collection this week. His inspirations ran rapid of candy, soda, furryness, "Clueless," super heros, and religion. After the show Jeremy Scott said "You should have fun with fashion," I also think he was telling us to enjoy a Coke and God while we're at it. See more of his looks here!

Eye Candy

Last night I spent pre-Valentine's day at the Custo Barcelona show, by far the most fun I've had this week! The show was packed, the lights were pouring with color, and the energetic models were dressed in bright colors. The outfits were so fun and delicious they all looked like eye candy! I hope everyone gets some suga today :)

Bubble Gum

Today at the Richard Chai LOVE show he surprised us all with some eye candy. Charlotte Free made a surprising appearance! While watching the neutral collection pass one by one, Charlotte definitely showed us the power of pink. And speaking of bubble... I saw Susie Bubble there, front and center!

Put da Lime in de Coconut

Today my friend Emily sent me this article on designer's inspirations. If I were a fashion designer my inspirations would be nature, island fruits, and coconuts! What would your inspiration be?! P.S. This is me sipping my drink of choice, if I can't get the real deal, I prefer Naked.

Lemon Head

I miss sunny days, lemon candies, and shaken iced tea lemonade from Starbucks in the summertime.

Pray to God

I'm only posting this because I feel that everyone needs to know. After watching the Bachelor tonight and seeing all the girls freaking out over a Praying Mantis, I told my roommate Michelle that they were a sign of good luck. THEN, she informed me that they are very deadly. Everyone needs to watch this video NOW, I'm in shock. Just pray to God you'll never face a Praying Mantis.

Confetti

For New Years Eve my friend bought me the best organic chocolate cake from Whole Foods. To say the least the cake disappeared within 48 hours, I'm ready for my next one Cath... and it better be confetti! Beryl Wells is the artist of this squiggly painting, can you guess who designs the confetti cake dress?!

Last night I went to Le Grainne Cafe with my friend Kristin and we ordered yummy crepes, banana and Nutella is my fave. This leather Chloe dress looks like a creamy caramel crepe! If you're in the mood, definitely consider visiting La Grainne!
