Primavera (Allegory of Spring) is a portrait of the Medici family; Italian royalty who accomplished much art and architecture throughout the Renaissance Period. Fortunately, I got to view this painting at the Uffizi in Florence last year. Maybe the Medici's inspired this Vogue photo shoot?
